Information Consulting
$45/Hour
Information consulting is for those individuals/couples who may benefit from a conversation with a doula, but who aren’t interested in a full doula support package. This provides the opportunity to meet with me to discuss any topics related to pregnancy, birth, postpartum, new parenthood, baby care, or being a doula.
You decide which topics we discuss, and I will come prepared to answer your questions, make recommendations, share resources, and listen/connect. I can:
- Help you find classes related to doula work, childbirth, breastfeeding, postpartum support, and baby care.
- Offer information and insights on different care providers.
- Help you better understand your rights as a pregnant and birthing person.
- Help you develop the confidence to advocate for yourself and navigate difficult conversations with your provider.
- Teach you physical comfort measures for labor discomfort.
- Assist you in writing a birth plan.
- Help you plan for your postpartum life.
- Offer insight on how to get started as a doula and run a business.
- Provide support as you navigate your role as a birth worker.
- ...and offer information and support as you move within and through the world of birth and/or birth work!
